27 października to kolejna data, która na trwale zapisze się w historii Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Chorych „Sądeckie Hospicjum”, bo właśnie tego dnia otwarto nowe skrzydło placówki, Jak powiedziała Małgorzata Broda, prowadząc uroczystość, Sądeckie Hospicjum jest, jak piękne ramiona wyciągnięte w stronę miasta. Zaprosiła wszystkich do wysłuchania recitalu Mateusza Ziółki, który od kilku lat wspiera Sądeckie Hospicjum. Mieczysław Kaczwiński prezes TPCH „Sądeckie Hospicjum” przypomniał historię organizacji i etapy powstawania placówki. Podkreślał, że na każdym etapie mógł liczyć na hojność Sądeczan – wszystkich, zarówno przedsiębiorców, jak i tych, często bezimiennych darczyńców wspierających dzieło w czasie akcji Pola Nadziei i ofiarujących 1% swojego podatku. Każda złotówka została wydana mądrze i ku pożytkowi podopiecznych.
Podziękował również swoim współpracownikom, gdyż bez ich pracy i zaangażowania nawet najpiękniejszy budynek nie spełniałby swojej roli. Głos zabrał również Ludomir Handzel Prezydent Miasta Nowego Sącza serdecznie dziękując wszystkim, którzy przyczynili się do rozbudowy i na co dzień pracują, opiekując się chorymi. W podziękowaniu wręczono okolicznościowe statuetki „Anioły Hospicjum”. Ksiądz Józef Wojnicki uroczyście pobłogosławił i poświęcił nowe skrzydło, a symbolicznie wstęgę przecięli prezydent Ludomir Handzel, Rafał Stanuszek – właściciel firmy Ersbet oraz Mieczysław Kaczwiński. Zebrani goście mieli okazję zobaczyć pięknie wykonane i wyposażone sale chorych, sale fizjoterapii i ogród zimowy.
Dziękujemy wszystkim, którzy wspierają Sądeckie Hospicjum materialnie, swoją pracą, zaangażowaniem i modlitwą.
